Pre-Klean Corp. was originally formed out of Orlando, Florida, in 2008 by Saquana Shelton.

The concept emerged organically when Saquana was newly engaged and expecting a baby girl.

   After years as a stay-at-home mom, Saquana set out to get back into the workforce, but had a 3-year-old daughter by then. Daycare prices were skyrocketing beyond the couple's budget, so with her baby on her hip and without any daycare knowledge, Saquana walked into the nearest preschool and vowed to learn the preschool industry from the bottom up. ​

   Saquana made a deal to have her childcare fee waived in exchange for industry experience and a fulltime wage. Over time, major and minor roles such as, Personal assistant, Administrative assistant, Teachers assistant, Clerk, Certified preschool teacher, Director, Timekeeper, NYPD 911 Operator, Compliance officer NYC teacher and mother, were a few of the disciplines that Saquana used to create
